Detroit Brunch at Always Brewing Detroit this Sunday, December 16th, 2012!

Detroit Brunch and Uptown Kitchen are coming together to host Grand Rapids first ever Holiday Food Bazaar! Join us as we celebrate local artisan foods and Michigan’s small business economy. Renaissance Roastery

When stopping by the MOCAD on February 12th, be sure to grab a cup of coffee from Detroit’s new Renaissance Roastery! Erin Green (owner) previously ran a small cafe in Ann Arbor, and has a passion for coffee. Now having made the move to Detroit with her fiance, she hopes to provide the city with fresh roasted, fair-trade and organic coffee! Stop by the MOCAD between 11am and 3pm to pick up one of our delectable Valentines Day Goodies. Pare it up with a cup of coffee from Renaissance Roastery and take a few minutes to check out the MOCAD’s latest exhibition. Joshua White and Gary Panter’s Light Show is a new exhibition organized especially for the Museum by two great pioneers of multimedia art. White and Panter have been working together since the late 1990s, and this exhibition is their largest collaborative project to date.

Herbed Cashew Cheese made with fresh rosemary and thyme, Dried Spiced Tomatoes, Tossed Greens, Avalon Baguette, and Suddenly Sauer’s Squash Kimchi made with home-grown Pink Banana Winter Squash.

Maple Citrus Salad, served with dates and pecans, tossed in a house vinaigrette made with Gang of Pour’s Red Wine Vinegar and Carncross Maple Syrup from Clare, MI.

Smoked White Bean and Winter Green Soup made with Hampshire Farms Great Northern Beans, served with Crustini made from Avalon’s Baguette.
